With the violence of hope
Comes loss
With the loss of hope
Comes violence
These two things, intertwined
Yet, paradoxically, estranged
Tear me from my brother
Their glances splintering the glass of our gaze
Their voices stifling ours.

I wrote this in a very short amount of time after reading borges for two hours, i thought i might like to dedicate a poem to him.
